The Rev. Jen Rude
Jen's call from Resurrection Lutheran Church Pastor Jen Rude, a 2005 graduate of the Pacific School of Religion, Berkeley, CA currently serves as the Community Minister at Resurrection Lutheran Church, an ELCA congregation in Chicago and as a Youth Outreach Minister with homeless and runaway youth in Chicago at The Night Ministry. Jen has been simultaneously going through the ELCA candidacy process and the ECP candidacy process. Her Sierra Pacific Synod ELCA approval committee met in October 2006. Although her small panel recommended approval, the larger full committee decided to make no decision. Her candidacy decision has been tabled until January 2007. Pr. Jen was approved by the Extraordinary Candidacy Project in November 2006. Jen was named the first Joel R. Workin Scholar at the 2006 LLGM Gala. Press:
